CALANDA

Perched on the Southern fringe of the Ebro River Basin in the Province of Aragon, Spain, Calanda is a very small village but its vessels are instantly recognized by circular stamped imprints with a more pot bellied shape, a broader shoulder and often wearing primitive ‘’war paint’’ undulations.
Because Calanda is often lighter in body there are some wonderful prized deformities that can happen during firing.
